Shiatsu-Matten

Shiatsu (finger pressure) is a method of body therapy developed in Japan. This method has emerged from the traditional Chinese massage Tuina. It is mostly practiced on a shiatsu mat or a special futon on the floor. Our shiatsu mats are designed for shiatsu massages. These pure new wool-horsehair-mats are slightly padded and at the same time provide sufficient stability for the practitioner (in kneeling position).

Structure
Shiatsu mats are made with one or two horsehair layers (900 g/sq. m), wrapped with pure new wool fleeces (900 g/sq. m).
All materials of Shiatsu mats are checked for harmful substances. The pure new wool comes from controlled biological animal husbandry.
